Kitty Quarters, Inc.

Our Mission

Donated Funds:  Funds will be used to pay for ongoing vet bills for the care of new cats that come to the shelter.  Each new cat, unless it has current veterinary paperwork, undergoes a thorough exam by a vet and is fully inoculated, including Rabies.  If the cat has not been spaded or neutered, that surgery is scheduled.  If the cat has some medical problem, that is addressed as well.

How Funds Help: Kitty Quarters is a 501(c)3 pure charity.  We all-volunteer so all monies donated go to the care and feeding of the cats.  All donations help us continue our efforts to find forever homes for these otherwise unwanted cats.

What Is Duck Day?

Created in 2006 by the Naugatuck Chamber, the Duck Race features the release of over 20,000 rubber ducks from the Whittemore Bridge to race down the Naugatuck River. Each duck is vying to be among the first 20 to cross the finish line to win prizes, including the first prize of $5,000 for one lucky ticket purchaser.
During the annual Duck Race & Festival, Maple and Water Streets in downtown Naugatuck are filled with food and craft vendors, live music, games, activities for children, and much more. Businesses also will exhibit their products and services to the more than 5,000 people who attend each year. Over the past 17 years, more than 375 organizations have received over $452,438 by participating in the Duck Race fundraising activities.

All entries must be submitted by Friday, May 19, 2023 by 12:00 PM to be entered to win. Chamber employees are not eligible to win. Chances in winning depends on number of entries. All entries must be over 16 years of age.
