Companion Pet Rescue (CPR Dogs)
CPR’s mission is rescuing & rehoming abandoned and neglected dogs.
In addition to to rescuing & rehoming dogs, we promote our own spay/neuter outreach program that allows us to assist families that need this service but can’t afford it.
Companion Pet Rescue’s name was chosen very deliberately — we focus our efforts on friendly, social, loving companion pets. We rarely assist in placing dogs with special needs or aggression — we simply are not equipped to rescue these dogs, as our dogs are heavily socialized with others (a doggy daycare environment), or in foster homes, almost all of which have children and other pets.
While we always have more dogs in need than foster homes to help, we focus on the positive and what we can accomplish, this helps us save thousands of dogs in need!
Please help us spread the word about our rescue and our spay/neuter initiative. Thank you for supporting CPR!

What Is Duck Day?
Over the past 14 years, the annual Duck Race and Festival has taken place downtown Naugatuck with over 5,000 attendees. Duck Day created a fun-filled day where family and friends gathered, enjoyed great music, tasted yummy food, shopped talented crafters and business vendors, played games and rode carnival rides! All while they waited to watch the highly anticipated Duck Race, as thousands of rubber ducks were dropped by a payloader down the Naugatuck River and raced to the finish line with the first prize of $5,000 CASH!
This year we are going virtual! On Sunday, September 6th at 9 AM we will release our first ever Virtual Duck Day Movie! Family and Friends can gather to see the excitement of Duck Day and find out who the top ten winners are! 1st Prize is $5,000 Cash with 10 other great prize packages valued at $500+ each.
All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, September 1, 2020 by 11:59 PM to be entered to win. Chamber employees are not eligible to win. Chances in winning depends on number of entries. All entries must be over 16 years of age.
